In this article you will learn how to track your Pakistan Post registered letters and parcels. So, how to do this? You simply visit this link. It will take you to the Pakistan Post Express Mail Track & Trace System website.
In the upper right corner, you will see a text input box named Tracking Id. Enter your tracking number here.
After you press the enter button a new webpage will load. If you don’t see the tracking details immediately, wait a bit. When I first tracked my registered letter, nothing appeared. I thought I had entered the tracking number wrong. So I was about to close the browser tab. But then the tracking details appeared. When the web server is busy you will not see the tracking details immediately. You will have to wait a bit.
As you can see in the picture above my registered letter reached its destination in two days. Also the tracking number is twelve characters long. The first three are English alphabets and next nine are whole numbers.
The letter was really meant for NTS office. When I didn’t see the Addressee in the tracking details I inquired about it from the Pakistan Post helpline. I asked why my letter is not showing in NTS but instead is showing in FBISE office. The first time the guy at the helpline lodged my complaint. The next time he said there is nothing wrong and your letter is delivered to NTS despite online tracking still showing it in FBISE office.
When I called NTS about my letter they gave a vague response. I had submitted an online application to NTS too. I did receive the roll number slip from NTS. Now it is not clear whether the letter reached NTS office or not.
If you are curious, it costs only Rs. 60 to send the registered letter. If I had opted for TCS or Leopards Courier, I probably would have been charged Rs. 300.
