Tapmad is an over-the-top (OTT) media service. It is a video streaming app where you can watch Pakistani news and entertainment TV channels. See a list of these TV channels. I subscribed to this service to watch Pakistan Super League on my laptop. Here is how I signed up for this app.
Sign Up Process
I subscribed to this “PSL Promotional Offer” of Rs. 99 for the first month.
I chose my payment method as JazzCash and entered my phone number.
On the next screen, I had to link my JazzCash account. You have to enter your JazzCash account’s PIN code. You have to double-check the URL in the address bar. It should show a green lock and the domain name should end in jazzcash.com.pk.
The first time I clicked on Proceed. It got stuck on the same screen. I went back and re-entered my phone number, then it worked fine. Before trying again, make sure that your JazzCash account balance is the same as before.
The next thing was entering a one-time password.
The last step was about setting the password. The password is just a PIN code. Don’t enter your JazzCash account’s PIN code. Choose a different PIN code.

Final Words
I wasn’t sure if it would stream TV channels smoothly. I was expecting some lags in video streaming. Nothing of that sort occurred. It practically never lagged behind. I tested it on my StormFiber internet connection.
I watched most of the games of PSL on the Tapmad app. It was a wonderful experience.
